When it comes to obtaining real estate accreditation, there really is not one tried-and-true path you can take. Whether you’re looking to get your valuers or real estate agents license the path to accreditation depends entirely on you. That being said, in the following paragraphs I will outline a few of the steps to gaining accreditation.

The following are the types of courses most Tafes and other organisations provide —-

  • Real Estate Agent’s License
  • Salesperson’s Certificate
  • Restricted Letting Agent’s License
  • Auctioneer’s License

These training courses will provide information and answer questions like what can cause a new real estate agent to fail, how to avoid it and help identify where most of your business will come from  and also how to become the dominant agent in your area.

An agents representative is any person who is not a licensed agent but who performs any estate agents functions (eg sales person, property manager).

A person employed as a Property Consultant in a real estate office or property management business, must be recorded on the register of that agency or business. To be recorded on that register, a person new to real estate must have passed their relevant state or territory educational course and licencing requirements.
